“WeAretheSuperlativeConspiracy” announced that former Etnies Girl national sales manager, Sunny Zobel, has joined the WESC team as US sales director. Zobel will be based in the Culver City, CA WESC office and will begin her role immediately.
“Ive known Sunny since the early 90s and have following her moves in the skateboard and streetwear industry. Ever since we took over the distribution of WESC in the US earlier this year, we have been looking for a director of sales with a solid background in the industry, something Sunny Zobel has. Her primary focus will be to strengthen and lead the US sales force as WESC increases the pace of establishing itself in the US market” stated Greger Hagelin.
Zobel began her career in domestic sales with World Industries in 1993, and joined DC Shoes in 1994 where she was the international sales manager for five years. Subsequently, she worked to re-launch Skateboarder Magazine in 1999 and held the positions of advertising director and associate publisher for the next five years. Most recently, she was the national sales manager for Etnies Girl.
“Sunny has the key experience in, and thorough understanding of, both the skateboard and the streetwear business, which is what we were looking for. Were really excited to have her on board,” says Greger.
