WellBiz Brands Inc., a franchise portfolio company operating three distinct wellness, fitness and beauty brands, Elements Massage, Fitness Together and Amazing Lash Studio, announced the appointments of Sherin Sakr to general counsel and Chris Glodé as chief digital officer. These appointments strengthen the company’s management team as the leader in the wellness, fitness and beauty sectors.

As general counsel, Sherin Sakr brings over a decade of experience to WellBiz and will play a critical role in providing strategic legal guidance for the company. Most recently, she served as vice president of Legal at New Jersey-based Realogy Franchise Group where she served as brand counsel for Century 21 Real Estate and Coldwell Banker Real Estate. Prior to that Sakr held various leadership roles at Kahala Brands, global franchisor of over 15 quick service restaurant brands, including Cold Stone Creamery, Blimpie, Pinkberry, Baja Fresh, among others.

New chief digital officer and Denver native, Chris Glodé brings over 15 years of experience in consumer digital product strategy to WellBiz Brands. In his new role, Glodé will oversee the company’s digital strategy and roadmap. Before WellBiz, Glodé was chief product officer of Helix, a personal genomics company he joined via the acquisition of HumanCode, where he was CEO. Prior to that, he was VP of digital product management at Under Armour, which acquired MapMyFitness, where he served as general manager and led product and marketing.
