Waypoint Outdoor added several industry veterans to its team of sales reps.
Based in Seattle, WA, Waypoint Outdoor has offices in Bend, OR, Bozeman, MT, Anchorage, AK, Salt Lake City, UT, Santa Cruz, CA, Oceanside, CA, Denver, CO, and Chicago, IL.
Chris Sears, A.J. Cargill and Scott Peller joined Waypoint as the agency continues to grow beyond its Pacific Northwest roots into the Southwest and Rockies. All three bring long-standing relationships from Southern California to Wyoming and over to Colorado, as well as category-specific expertise.

Chris Sears comes to Waypoint after five years in brand relations with the Outdoor Retailer tradeshow. Sears has years of sales experience in the Surf and Outdoor Markets. He is growing Waypoint’s presence in the Southwest, representing hardgoods brands, BioLite, Klean Kanteen and Sunski across Southern California, Southern Nevada and Arizona.
Based in Jackson, WY, A.J. Cargill is joining Waypoint after three years as national accounts manager for Arc’teryx and decades in the ski industry, from a buyer at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort to ski patrol, coach and professional athlete. Cargill is focused on servicing specialty retailers in Wyoming and Utah, representing Vasque, Helly Hanson and Tread & Butter.
Scott Peller joins Waypoint Outdoor solidifying its Mountain Rockies presence covering Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, and Wyoming focused on “sustainable hardgoods brands” BioLite, Klean Kanteen and Sunski. Getting his start in the outdoor industry in retail at Vail Resorts and Patagonia, Peller has spent the last five years as a sales rep based in Denver, CO.
