Warschawski has been retained by W.L. Gore & Associates as its national public relations agency of record. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Warschawski is responsible for handling marketing and public relations activities for the GORE-TEX and WINDSTOPPER brands. The announcement comes on the heels of Warschawski being named global agency of record earlier this year for The Athlete’s Foot.

“As a respected international leader for creating innovative products, Gore turned to Warschawski to grow brand insistence in the global marketplace,” commented Brian Gallagher of Gore’s footwear and accessories business unit. “Warschawski has a proven track record for helping companies grow their brands, and we are confident that their strategic and creative approach will help grow the bottom line while raising visibility for the innovative technology offerings of the two brands.”

With annual revenues topping nearly $2 billion, the company is headquartered in Newark, Delaware, and employs approximately 8,000 associates in 50 facilities throughout the world. Gore, a privately held company, is a leading manufacturer of thousands of advanced technology products for the electronics, industrial, fabrics and medical markets. With a global licensee base, including The North Face, Nike, Mountain Hardwear and Arc’Teryx, the company is best known for GORE-TEX fabric. Gore has been recognized by Fortune magazine as among the “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” for the last 10 consecutive years.

“Warschawski is thrilled to partner with Gore to build its brands through innovative public relations and marketing initiatives that help achieve business goals,” commented Amy Christopher, president of Warschawski. “Gore joins the growing list of companies that understand Warschawski’s proprietary brand-centric public relations and marketing approach – and how strong branding drives consumer preference. Our initiatives will focus on raising awareness and visibility for Gore’s innovative technology and translating that into action for consumers.”
