Warrior Hockey signed NHL athletes David Clarkson of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Max Pacioretty of the Montreal Canadiens to multi-year endorsement contracts. Warrior will be the official on-ice equipment and off-ice footwear and apparel provider for these athletes.

Hailing from New Canaan, Connecticut, Pacioretty joined the NHL’s Montreal Canadiens in 2009 and the Warrior team to start the 2013/2014 season.  “I started using Warrior sticks towards the end of last season and have never felt better about my game.  The gloves and protective are also great, and I feel more confident than I ever have out on the ice” Max stated on joining the Warrior Players Club, Warrior Hockey’s stable of signed NHL athletes.

David Clarkson, a Toronto, Ontario native and new member of the Toronto Maple Leafs, made the switch Warrior after picking up a new Covert stick this summer.  “I made the move to Warrior because of their great products, but in particular their sticks.  When I got it into my hands, just the way it felt, and the way the puck was coming off of it, was something I has never felt before” said Clarkson.  “And Warrior is a company that cares.  They go out of their way to make you happy as an athlete and their service in the NHL rooms is unmatched.”

“Warrior is focused on making performance products for athletes that surpasses what has traditionally been available to them. As a result, athletes are choosing to use Warrior,” says Jamie Hartley, general manager of Warrior Hockey. “Our sticks are better than they have ever been and we have great momentum right now in NHL rooms.”

Warrior set out to sign key players in Canadian markets this summer and landed some of the top names in the game.  “Having world-class players like Pacioretty and Clarkson only adds to an already strong roster of athletes that have chosen to use Warrior.  Guys like Zetterberg, Chara, Yakupov, Vanek; Warrior is really becoming a movement, starting with the players and certainly with consumers” says Dave Dixon, Chief Marketing Officer of Warrior Sports, Inc.  “Some of the top players in the world are picking up Warrior sticks and are just in awe; it’s unlike anything they have ever felt.  You’re going to start to see a wave of players choosing Warrior because the performance advantage is unmatched.”

To start the 2013/2014 season, there are over 500 Warrior product hits in professional hockey including sticks, gloves, helmets, pants, goal sticks and gear, and protective equipment.
