The Warnaco Group, Inc. has announced that John Kourakos has resigned for personal reasons. Kourakos has served as President of Warnaco's Sportswear Group since January 2002. The Company has begun a search for his successor, and Kourakos will continue to advise Warnaco as a consultant.
Joe Gromek, Warnaco's President and Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are sorry to see John leave Warnaco, but understand and respect his decision. While we will miss working with John on a daily basis, we look forward to his ongoing positive contributions to Warnaco.”
