Wanted – A self-motivated, proactive individual with tactical problem solving skills. Must have the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and details while meeting established quality standards that adhere to company time lines and season release dates. As the Visual Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for implementing effective in-store presentation of Marmot & ExOfficio products and brand image in assigned Lodges in a way that promotes sell-through in line with sales plans. This position also will assess retailers needs and place orders for fixtures and distribute point of purchase materials each season.
Successful performance requires in-depth knowledge of Marmot & ExOfficio products and their functionality, self-motivation and the ability to partner effectively with all levels of store personnel, and sales representatives to present the line, discuss order status, and apply merchandising skills. Additional skills required are strong verbal communication and presentation skills, work planning and organization, logistics, attention to detail, and selling and negotiation skills. Knowledge of EXCEL and Paragon or other product management software is also required.
This position requires 20-30% domestic travel and must have the ability to pack samples, load fixtures for shipping and build booths that may require lifting of 50+ pounds.
