Vista Outdoor has laid off 14 employees from its Bell, Giro and Blackburn headquarters in Scotts Valley, CA, Bicycle Retailer reported.
The layoffs represent about 10 percent of the workforce at the facility. Sources told the publication the layoffs were across departments at Bell, Giro and Blackburn, including employees in engineering, design, testing and marketing.
Rocky Krivijanski, the vice president of strategic communications for Vista Outdoor, told Bicycle Retailer “I think the best way to describe it is that we’re right-sizing our workforce in a tough market.”
