Virus Action Sport Performance has been selected to provide compression apparel to the Canadian Ski Patrol to aid in performance and recovery for their members.

Virus will equip team members with its 1st layer Stay Warm Coffee Charcoal Compression performance apparel designed for use in snow and cold temperatures. The CSP will now be able to enjoy the benefits of compression as well as a light weight moisture wicking fabric that traps heat.

“We are very proud to part of the CSP,” said Vice President of Marketing Sten Rasmussen. “Our products have been very popular with ski patrol here in the United States and we feel that CSP will enjoy the benefits that our compression products provide.”

The Canadian Ski Patrol was initially created to provide first aid and rescue services on ski hills and delivering this valued service still remains their core focus. Over the past two decades the CSP have extended beyond the ski hill to offer first aid/medical support, and full medical team coordination, for a long list of recreational, music and sporting events for many organizations across Canada.

The Canadian Ski Patrol is a national, not-for-profit organization that has been providing safety programs, first aid and rescue services to more than 230 ski resorts across Canada for 72 years. They currently have close to 5,000 highly trained volunteer members whose responsibility is to encourage the public to ski and ride safely.  www.skipatrol.ca
