Vimazi, the manufacturer of “pace-tuned” running shoes, hired Scott McCoubrey as national sales manager.

McCoubrey brings 40 years of industry experience working in various sectors of the running industry, most recently in the retail space with The Elephants Perch in Ketchum, ID, and before that as the owner of the Seattle Running Company for 12 years. His sales background includes working for Montrail and Scott Sports where he first worked with Vimazi founder and CEO Scott Tucker. McCoubrey was an independent sales rep for brands including K2, Ultimate Direction, Sierra Designs, and others, and the race director for the White River 50 Mile Endurance Run, Cougar Mountain Trail Series and Bridle Trails Winter Trail Running Festival for 20 years.

Focused on growing its retail presence, Vimazi also hired Henry Guzman and Adam Pinkston to its sales team.

Guzman has been a “pillar” of the Boulder, CO running community for over 30 years, with vast experience in retail ownership and product line management. Pinkston, based in Asheville, NC, is a former competitive runner and for 20 years has worked at the specialty outdoor store, Black Dome Mountain Shop, garnering knowledge in sales, marketing and customer service. He also spent 13 years as a sales rep at The North Face. As a sales rep for Vimazi in the Southeast, Pinkston will focus on identifying potential retail partnerships and expanding the company’s presence in the region.

“We are excited to welcome Scott, Henry and Adam to our team at Vimazi, as they will all play a crucial role in expanding our sales territories and brand presence,” shared Tucker. “Their impressive backgrounds in retail and the running industry make them all an ideal fit for our team, and we have no doubt that they will work tirelessly to help Vimazi continue to thrive and grow.”
