Vibram USA will be opening its first flaship store in the United States on Newbury Street in Boston, where consumers will be able to purchase FiveFingers shoes and learn more about the Vibram brand and its contribution to outdoor and lifestyle footwear.
“Ultimately it will be a marketing experience connecting the consumer to Vibram more closely,” said PJ Antonik, a spokesman for Vibram USA, which is headquartered in Concord, MA. “We will be displaying our partners products so that we have the ability to educate the consumer on who Vibram is, the value we add to a partners product and the history of the brand.”
The proximity o the store to Vibram USA's headquarter in Concord will also enable employees there to work in the store and more closely with consumers.
Italy-based Vibram develops rubber soling for footwear makers in 120 countries.
