Due to the coronavirus, Vibram announced that it has decided to temporarily suspend production at its Italian facility, located in Albizzate, for at least a week, in order to allow all workers to stay at home safely.

Also, the three Vibram stores in Boston, MA, and Milan and Montebelluna in Italy are closed to the public.

The company also said that due to the restrictive measures previously applied, production in the Far East and in the Vibram headquarters in Guangzhou (Vibram Tech Center) has restarted.

In the meantime, production in the U.S. is under careful control in accordance with the developments of the coronavirus in the United States. The restart in Asia raises hope for a positive outcome also in Italy and in other affected areas around the world.
