VF Corporation announced that Bob Cordaro, 49, has been named Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for the VF Sportswear Coalition. Mr. Cordaro currently serves as Vice President – Controller for VF Corporation. He will transition into his new position in the fourth quarter of this year, continuing in his current role as the Company begins the search for his replacement. He replaces Wayne Marino, Chief Financial Officer for Nautica, who will be leaving to pursue other business opportunities.

“Bob's financial and international experience coupled with his proven management and leadership skills will be a valuable asset to our Sportswear Coalition management team,” said Eric Wiseman, Vice President and Chairman – Sportswear & Global Intimates Coalitions for VF Corporation. VF's Sportswear Coalition, which was formed upon the completion of the Company's merger with Nautica Enterprises, Inc. in August, 2003, includes the Nautica, Earl Jean and John Varvatos businesses.

Mr. Cordaro has served as VP – Controller for VF Corporation since January of 2001. Prior to this assignment, he worked for four years as President of VF Asia based in Hong Kong. From 1994 to 1996, he served as Chief Financial Officer of VF Europe in Brussels. From 1992 to 1994, he was Chief Financial Officer of Wrangler Europe in London. He joined the VF Treasury Department in 1985 and was named Assistant Treasurer in 1990.
