Veltec made a series of major announcements this week, first expanding its LOOK cycle equipment distribution agreement into Canada, an then announcing the formation of a new SnowSports division.
Veltec Sports and LOOK Cycle reached their agreement after reviewing the needs and opportunities of the Canadian market. The company will now extend its distribution of LOOK Carbon Fiber Frames, Pedal Systems and Components North of the border.
“With Veltecs proven success with the LOOK brand in the United States and the strength of their sales force in Canada, it is a natural expansion of our relationship” says Christophe Jouffret, Sales Director for LOOK Cycle of France. “Increasingly the North American market is seen as one market, so this was a logical step.”
The new SnowSports division will distribute helmets, goggles and eyewear from Briko, energy nutrition systems by Enervit, and altimeters and heart rate monitors from CicloSport. Veltec is building a network of 20+ sales reps to service the ski industry and will enter the market at Januarys SIA Show.
