Veltec Sports, one of the most successful distributors of high-end cycling products in North America, is bringing their expertise and marketing horsepower to the slopes this winter. Veltec’s new Snow Sports Division will make its official debut at January’s SIA Show, showcasing the latest helmets, goggles and eyewear from Briko, energy nutrition systems by Enervit, and CicloSport RDS, altimeters and heart rate monitors.

“Veltec’s formula for success in cycling has been simple,” stated Veltec’s Managing Director Josh Greenberg. “We listen to what consumers want, and we deliver only high-end products-the very best-to our dealers. And that’s how we intend to pursue snow sports.”

Veltec’s recent acquisition of distribution for Briko gives Veltec dealers access to the sleekest-looking, best-performing eyewear and helmets on the slopes, a high-profile brand that’s familiar to winter Olympics viewers and followers of competitive ski and board sports. Just ask Bode Miller, defending World Cup giant slalom champ & 2002 Olympic silver medallist, who’s launched into the 2005 season setting records while sporting his Briko Forerunner helmet and Icarus goggles.

Additionally, Veltec will be offering its Enervit and CicloSport brands that cross over from cycling to active snow sports. Enervit’s high-energy nutritional products are a natural for cross-country athletes and hard-charging alpine skiers and boarders alike. Likewise, CicloSport’s ski speed RDS with Doppler radar, wrist-mounted altimeters and heart rate monitors will provide a new dimension of vital performance information for two-plankers and snowboarders who are serious about their performance.

Veltec is building a network of 20+ sales reps to service the ski industry. Come meet the new reps, and get the latest on Veltec’s new Snow Sports Division by stopping in at booth A1498 at the SIA Show.
