Vasque footwear announced its roster of ambassadors for the Thru-Hike Syndicate’s 2017 season. In its fourth season, the Thru-Hike Syndicate is a brand partner-powered program supporting a select group of thru-hikers attempting to complete the longest trails throughout the United States. The Thru-Hike Syndicate is supported by Vasque, Osprey Packs, NEMO Equipment, Leki Trekking Poles, Darn Tough Vermont and LifeProof.
“It’s been amazing watching thru-hiking gain incredible momentum over the years and we’re proud to have been the founding partner of the Thru-hike-Syndicate,” said Joe Peters, head of global marketing at Vasque. “We take pride in outfitting the hikers that accumulate massive mileage, and experience via the trail in addition to providing us with pivotal feedback regarding our trail footwear.”
The 11 ambassadors chosen for the 2017 season were chosen from a pool of hundreds of applicants. Each ambassador has the opportunity to utilize the latest and best gear from each sponsor company while on their thru hikes while representing each sponsor brand on the trail.
