United Sports Technologies inked a sponsorship deal for the 2006 Southern Texas PGA (STPGA) Points List and Match Play Championship at The Club at Falcon Point in Katy, Texas. UST has been a sponsor of the STPGA over the past five years.
“Were very excited about being the title sponsor at this upcoming tournament,” says Gene Simpson, vice president of marketing for UST. “UST has always supported PGA professional events and its our participation in organizations, like the STPGA, that make working in the golf industry so enjoyable. UST is known for producing the best performing golf shafts in the market; its rewarding to have an opportunity for PGA professionals in Southern Texas Section to get to know our company and products better.”
All Class “A” Members, Master Professionals, Life Members, Retired Members, and Class “B” Apprentices in good standing employed in the Southern Texas PGA are eligible for the tournament. The Top 16 members of the 2005 UST Points List will be automatically qualified for seeding within the tournament, a stroke play qualifier will determine the final 16 players.
