USA Rugby has announced a six-year apparel deal with UK-based sportswear company Castore.

The sports performance wear company will become the official apparel partner for the senior men’s and women’s Eagles and all junior national teams. Players will wear their kita as early as Spring 2022 with additional designs launching for Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 and Women’s Rugby World Cup 2021 in September of 2022.

Following Castore’s growth over the past year, USA Rugby will become its second national rugby team, joining several established partnerships including Samoa Rugby, Saracens, Sir Andy Murray, Adam Peaty, Newcastle United, England Cricket, and many others. Castore also recently signed a partnership with McLaren Formula 1 to further diversify its portfolio.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with another national rugby union team in USA Rugby,” said Pascal Lafitte, director of partnerships, Castore. “The USA has developed rapidly over the recent years, much like Castore, and we look forward to giving their fans something else to get excited about in the build-up to Rugby World Cups in 2022, 2023 and beyond.”

“This partnership is an exciting start to a new year and a new chapter for USA Rugby,” added USA Rugby CEO Ross Young. “As we continue to grow on the world stage, we look forward to having a partner that not only delivers a compelling portfolio in design technology but also one that believes in investing in the growth of American rugby over the next several years.”
