TJX Raises Outlook on Q3 Beat

The TJX Companies, Inc. lifted its guidance for sales and EPS for the year after seeing third-quarter results exceed targets. Q3 same-store sales grew 7 percent at the Marmaxx segment and 9 percent at HomeGoods, driven entirely by customer traffic.

Cole Haan opened its 500th store, marking its accelerated expansion since spinning off from Nike in 2012. The brand is sold in over 100 countries, up from 13 in 2013.

On’s DTC channel recorded growth of 54.6 percent to CHF 164.7 million when compared to Q3 2022, reflecting “the strength of the On brand and ongoing ambition for DTC to outgrow wholesale.” Wholesale channel sales increased 42.6 percent to CHF 315.7 million.
