United Wheels, Inc. (UW), the parent company of Huffy, Niner, Batch, and Buzz Bicycles, has appointed Ryan Karp as its new VP of Operations and Supply Chain Management. With over 20 years of experience, Karp will oversee the operations teams, rider services teams and supply chain management across multiple regions.

“Karp will ensure seamless integration from procurement to final product in his new role. He will play a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain processes, improving efficiency and driving innovation in both manufacturing and logistics,” the company said in a media release.

The company said Karp will work closely with cross-functional teams worldwide to support UW’s mission to “provide high-quality bicycles while maintaining sustainability and agility in the market.”

The company said Karp joined the company from SparkMeter, Inc., where he was chief operating officer. Before SparkMeter, he was the director of North American Operations & Global Supply Chain for Norsk Titanium, Inc. (Nti) and global supply chain director at OnLogic, Inc. He also led the business transformation of Cobham’s Advanced Electronic Sector as the strategic supply chain director.
