Under Armour signed Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) to a four-year sponsorship deal.
The brand will provide performance footwear, apparel and equipment as the official outfitter of the Greyhounds.
As part of the recently inked deal, Under Armour will be the exclusive provider of game and training gear for all 14 Greyhound varsity athletic programs. Additionally, Under Armour will provide apparel for members of the athletic staff including coaches and administrative staff.
“ENMU and Eastern Athletics are very excited to partner with Under Armour,” interim athletic director Dr. Jeff Long said, “Our agreement will provide our teams with quality uniforms and equipment as well as a great look during competition. The exclusive deal also allows for unity amongst our athletic programs and the image they portray on the field of competition.”
The agreement will provide both the Under Armour and Eastern New Mexico brand an opportunity to expand as the Greyhounds prepare to begin their first season in the recently expanded Lone Star Conference, which now stands as the largest conference in all of NCAA Division II athletics. The Greyhounds will join multiple conference foes and the LSC itself as partners with Under Armour.
