Speaking Thursday at Under Armour Inc.’s annual meeting, CEO Kevin Plank laid out a company goal to double its sales over the next three years, according to a report in the Baltimore Business Journal. The goal would bring the company’s total revenue to $2 billion by 2013.

Among the key growth initiatives, Under Armour is expanding its focus to include women in their late 20s and early 30s. As part of that, the company is rolling out a new line of sports bras and line of “Perfect Pant” pants for women yoga and working. Plank reiterated a goal of its women’s sales eventually surpassing men’s.

Targeting basketball, soccer and lacrosse players will be a particular focus in reaching teens and young adults.

On the apparel side, Plank also highlighted the Storm Fleece line of hooded and zip-up sweatshirts made of material that repels water and a Cold Black line of golf and sports shirts which reflect heat and UV rays. By spring 2012, Under Armour expects to have its underwear in 600 department stores nationwide, including Nordstrom, Macy’s and Bloomingdales.

Regarding footwear, touted launches include a “Charge RC” men’s and women’s running and training shoe that will launch in October. The shoes features a separate heel piece and will sell for $120. The “Micro G Strut”, a training shoe for women and men with an adjustable heel strap, will sell for $87. It will launch in spring 2012. Overall, its footwear department, led by Gene McCarthy, has increased its staff from 54 employees in 2008 to 119.

Under Armour also expect to introduce 700 “All-American shops” in retail partners like Dick’s Sports Goods. the Sports Authority and Finish Line. The roll out will start in August. Around 50 of the shop displays will open in Dick’s by the end of the year.
