Under Armour reached an agreement to continue to be the official outfitter of Central College in Pella, IA for the next five years.

Central was the first Iowa college or university to partner with Under Armour in 2013. This is the second extension of its original agreement.

The college’s 20 intercollegiate sports teams use Under Armour competition and training gear, as do Dutch athletics staff members. The agreement also includes marketing entitlements to promote its athletic brand in print, digital and on-field through the college’s A.N. Kuyper Athletics Complex.

“We take pride in being Iowa’s first Under Armour school,” said the college’s Athletics Director Eric Van Kley. “We feel Under Armour is the premier brand in the country for top-quality performance gear and its popularity with student-athletes and recruits continues to soar. We’re fortunate to have a unique agreement with UnderArmour and the company has gone over and above to help our student-athletes look and perform their best. We think this partnership provides Central with another point of distinctiveness, not only in Iowa but at the national level. This also allows us an opportunity to continue growing the Central College athletics brand.”
