Under Armour appointed Franck Denglos as vice president of commercial for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) effective September 1.

With 25 years of experience in the sports, lifestyle and fashion industries, Denglos brings a track record of driving commercial strategic growth to the company. He is based in UA’s Amsterdam office.

In his role at Under Armour, Denglos will oversee all sales channels across the EMEA, including wholesale, distributors, e-commerce, and retail. His primary focus will be accelerating growth and expanding UA’s presence in the region.

Denglos joins Under Armour with an international and cross-functional background. His career includes over 25 years at Adidas, where he was most recently president of Adidas Italy and previously held positions as global vice president of group strategy at Speed and global vice president of sales and GM at International Clearance/B2B.

Denglos’ hire follows the recent appointments of Yassine Saidi as chief product officer and Eric Liedtke as executive vice president of brand strategy.
