Under Armour hired a chief accounting officer accounting and corporate controller on November 25, three weeks after publicly confirming that its accounting practices are being investigated by the federal government, according to a report in the Baltimore Business Journal.
Under Armour confirmed the hiring of Aditya Maheshwari, who was previously chief accounting officer for OpenText Corp.
At Under Armour, Maheshwari is responsible for all accounting compliance and operations, financial reporting with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and internal controls. He reports directly to Chief Financial Officer David Bergman
