Crocs and other forms of rubber clogs have been banned in the U.K.'s NHS National Health Service due to health and safety concerns. Health officials found a number of incidents of sharp objects penetrating the soles of Croc-style shoes in hospitals.
According to the Telegraph, Clogs have become popular with hospital staff because they are comfortable and easy to clean.
The Telegraph reported that hospitals around the world, including in the
US, Canada, Sweden and Austria, have introduced bans on staff wearing
Croc-style shoes because of safety concerns.
