TYR Sport announced the re-signing of Olympic Gold Medalist and 2X IRONMAN World Champion Jan Frodeno to its roster of sponsored athletes.
Frodeno was a breakout star at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. In 2015, Frodeno became the first triathlete (male or female) to win both the Olympic Triathlon Gold and the IRONMAN World Championship title. In 2016, Frodeno clinched his second IRONMAN World Championship win. Most recently, Frodeno has taken home four major wins in IRONMAN 70.3 races throughout the world.
Frodeno said, “After my first season and some good success in the water I‘m happy to be a part of the family again. I think we‘ve found a good match in our relentless strive for better performance, and I‘m proud to be associated with the best in the business.”
