True Sports announced, effective April 8, Tom Burns will serve as the general manager of True Lacrosse. Burns comes to True Sports after spending time at Wilson Sports and Warrior Lacrosse in leadership roles.
“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to lead the True Lacrosse team as they continue to secure a foothold as the technological leader in lacrosse equipment,” Burns noted. “True Sports wealth of research, design innovation, manufacturing, and marketing excellence puts them in a unique position within the lacrosse industry.”
Burns addition strengthens the True Sports team and will help True Lacrosse continue as the leader in composite stick technology and the growth of high-performance heads and protective equipment.

Burns will be relocating to True Sports’ corporate headquarters in Memphis, TE. The company markets a wide variety of golf, hockey and lacrosse equipment under the True Temper, Project X and True brands.
