Trek has added one more item to its list of dealer services. Earlier this year Trek inked an exclusive deal with Catalyst marketing to provide catalog support to retailers during Trek’s annual super sale, and now the company has signed a five-year deal with Alliance Data Systems who will provide a turnkey private label credit card solution to Trek’s 2,300 dealers. Alliance stated that Trek boasts an estimated $1.4 billion in annual retail sales.

Alliance Data will provide Trek several private label credit card services including account acquisition and activation, receivables funding, card authorization, statement generation, and marketing services. Trek dealers will also have access to Alliances proprietary ‘Web Solution,’ which facilitates the processing of credit applications within 30 seconds.

In a press release, Trek’s director of Financial Services, David Smith, said that one of the main reasons for going with this program was that it didnt require dealers to invest additional capital in POS/software infrastructure in order to implement the program.
