Topgolf Entertainment Group announced it would open venues in Philadelphia and King of Prussia, PA.
The first venue in Philadelphia, part of the redevelopment of the former Nabisco plant, will open on May 20 located off US 1 near the Philadelphia Mills Mall; this is the company’s 77th global venue.
“We are excited to double down and build a strong bond with the Philadelphia community with our first venue within the city,” said Topgolf COO Gen Gray. “As a company focused on building roots and growing the game, we are thrilled to provide the community more opportunities to play.”
The three-level, open-air venue will feature 102 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays, dining, music, year-round programming, an outdoor patio, rooftop terrace, and private event space. The site will employ approximately 400 people.
Topgolf in Philadelphia marks the second venue in the state. The company said it would continue its expansion in the Greater Philadelphia area with plans to introduce a Topgolf in King of Prussia, with a similar 102 hitting bay design.
