Top-Flite Golf Company, which was acquired by Callaway Golf Company in September 2003, has reorganized its sales division, shifting some sales reps to independent reps and promoting a number of executives. Jamie Bosworth, who joined Top-Flite in April from Cleveland Golf, has been promoted to VP U.S. sales & marketing.

Reid Gorman, who comes over from Callaway where he was NSM, has been named director of key accounts and sales operations. He will handle key accounts, including Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith, and Dick's Sporting Goods.

The company said about half of the company’s 67 sales reps will be converted to independent reps and commissions will increase to 8% of sales, about double their current rate. They will also lose benefits and expense accounts.

Top-Flite also promoted Mike McAuliffe to senior director of marketing. McAuliffe, who has been with Spalding/Top-Flite for more than 20 years, will head up marketing for the Top-Flite and Ben Hogan brands.

Andrew Kelleher has been promoted to VP of finance and administration and will also head the company's human resources department. He joined the company in December from outside the industry. Thomas Fry has been named VP of manufacturing operations. He joined the company in January from Callaway, where he was director of golf club manufacturing.
