Toms, the company that designs and markets shoes as well as eyewear, coffee, apparel, and handbags, based in Los Angeles, CA, generated a total of $2 million in support of COVID-19 front line workers. This follows its move in March to direct one-third of its net profits from every product sold into a COVIDD-19 Global Giving Fund.
Tom’s said an additional $42,710 was raised for charities working directly with those impacted by COVID-19 from customers who elected to use their brand loyalty points – called Passport Rewards – to support those in need during the pandemic.
