GAI Cycles of Phoenix, Arizona has acquired 100 percent ownership in Titus Cycles, Inc. (Titus) from Vyatek Sports, Inc.

Founded in 1991 Titus Cycles, of Tempe, Arizona is a premier niche brand in both mountain and road bikes. Titus designs and builds both stock and custom frames by applying aluminum, carbon fiber,
titanium, and other superior materials to the licenses it holds for numerous frame technologies.

“Titus is a great brand and I’m confident that with new energy and additional resources it will continue on the incredible growth journey that we started 7 years ago,” said Vyatek President Howard Lindsay. “Titus will also continue to be a very important customer to Vyatek, and we are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the company and the management team.”

The fit between GAI and Titus is ideal, said Pat Hus, CEO of Titus.

“Vyatek has helped us grow our business to an amazing level,” Hus said.  “With GAI Cycles, we intend to take the company to the next level of the high-end bike market. We’ve grown leaps
and bounds over the last three years and in order to continue on this growth curve, we needed to add resources and capital to the company.”

Hus said GAI members are cycling enthusiasts with vast knowledge of how to grow private businesses.

“With more capital and new marketing and business development resources, Titus is uniquely positioned to grow its market share significantly in the high-end,” he said.

GAI Cycles and its members have experience and knowledge in managing small to mid-size businesses, especially in consumer markets. GAI’s management team has a strong and diversified background in operations, finance and business development with significant equity interests in the publication, renewable energy, software, health care, restaurant, and technology industries.
