Timex has signed elite American runners Josh Cox and Desi (Davila) Linden to its roster of athlete ambassadors.
Cox, the U.S. 50K record holder and Linden, a 2012 US Olympian, will be integrated into the brand’s advertising, PR and social media programs, and product development and testing.

Cox, a competitive long-distance runner for more than 23 years, was the youngest qualifier (age 24) at the 2000 U.S. Olympic Marathon trials and is the American record holder in the 50k with a time of 2:43:45. His 50k performances in 2009 and 2011 were world leading marks. A four-time US Olympic Marathon Trials qualifier and three-time U.S. National Team member, he has also been the top American marathon finisher at the World Track & Field Championships.

Linden led her team at Arizona State University as a two-time All-American in Track and Cross Country. She has been a consistent finisher at the World Marathon Majors with top five performances at Chicago (twice), Boston and Berlin Marathons. She finished in second place at the 2011 Boston Marathon and set a personal record with her time of 2:22:38, the second fastest time ever run by an American woman in that race. In 2012, Linden represented the United States at the London Olympics.
