Timbuk2 will open its fourth U.S. store in Denver's historic Larimer Square this spring.

The San Francisco-based bag makers, which is best known for popularizing the bicycle messnger bag, opended its  second retail store in Seattle last May and had earlier announced plans to open a store in Chicago this spring.

The 1,000-square-foot store is located at 1411 Larimer Street. Previously occupied by Apricot Lane Boutique, Timbuk2 carefully selected this historic neighborhood known for it's chef-driven restaurants and specialty stores for its new shop. Timbuk2 has partnered with award-winning design and architecture firm Gensler for this new store, which will feature exposed brick walls and historic architectural features.

The space will showcase Timbuk2’s entire product line of more than 100 styles of bags and accessories, including an interactive custom station where customers can design a one-of-a-kind bag or accessory made to order in their San Francisco factory. Timbuk2 Denver will also launch its own in-store bike share program.

Timbuk2’s first flagship store, which opened in 2006 in the Hayes Valley area of San Francisco became a hub for local bike commuting enthusiasts and urban adventurers.
