TMRW Sports, founded by Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and sports executive Mike McCarley, has tapped PGA Tour VP of Business Development Brian Cleek to join the company as SVP of business development, reporting to Jason Langwell, the newly hired chief revenue officer.

Cleek brings over 20 years of sports marketing experience to TMRW Sports with early career roles at the NFL in both the League Office and with the New York Giants. For the last 15 years, Cleek has held business development roles at the PGA of America, Roush Fenway Racing and, most recently, PGA Tour.

For over seven years, Cleek was the vice president of business development in the Corporate Partnerships department at the PGA Tour, focused primarily on securing new title sponsorships and official marketing partnerships for the PGA Tour.

“As we continue to build the sponsorship and corporate partnership team, we couldn’t be more excited to have Brian join TMRW Sports and TGL presented by SoFi as senior vice president of Business Development,” said Langwell. “Brian brings a proven track record of creating explosive growth for the largest governing bodies in golf and sports. He joins Ashley Chalk, Scarlett Eaton and Katy Mollica to form a powerful team working with our strategic partners at the PGA Tour to help us achieve our revenue goals and deliver against the strong demand we are seeing as we push towards season one of TGL in January.”

TMRW Sports’ first project, TGL presented by SoFi, is a new team golf league launched in partnership with the PGA Tour. An all-star roster of athletes, celebrities and business leaders from the worlds of sports, media, technology and finance support TMRW Sports. TMRW Sports joins Woods’ TGR Ventures and McIlroy’s Symphony Ventures, which are led by McCarley, founder and CEO.
