Thule has incorporated the Locally product locator into Thule.com to help guide U.S. consumers through their purchase at a local authorized Thule retailer.

Thule’s new Locally-powered Product Locator enables a shopper viewing a specific item to see which nearby store has that exact item—including the desired color and size—in stock. If a given product isn’t in stock nearby, the Product Locator recommends similar styles that are available at retailers in close proximity to the shopper. To ensure the most up-to-date information is available, the Product Locator is powered by retailer inventory feeds provided at least once a day—in some cases in real time.

“Given Thule’s vast network of specialty dealers across the country, it’s always been our philosophy to have our products where it is convenient for the consumers to purchase them,” said Schuyler Horton, Thule’s VP of Sales. “By incorporating Locally’s inventory platform into our online product pages, we can now take a step forward in helping our shared consumers find exactly what they want—where and when they want it. Additionally, they are more likely to get a great service experience—with additional product choices, use tips, or installation services offered from their local shop of choice.”

Implementation of the Locally Product Locator means shoppers are now able to combine the best place for product research—the Thule.com site—with their preferred way of making a purchase, on- or offline,.

“And because shoppers can complete their purchase before they leave the site, Thule’s digital acquisition efforts are not wasted if the customer would prefer local installation over shipping,” noted Locally President Mike Massey.
