Thule has hired Ben “Benny” Cruickshank as the new Western Technical Representative. As part of the Thule Envoy program, Cruickshank will be responsible for attending and assisting in-store training sessions, retailer sales events, and outdoor related consumer events. Cruickshank will be based from his home in Boulder, Colorado.

Steve Doviak, Thule Inc. Marketing Manager. “His experience at retail and in
the rack industry with Rocky Mounts will be a great asset to us and a great
resource for our dealers and consumers.”
Cruickshank comes to Thule with years of experience in the outdoor and cycling
industries having previously held customer service positions at Rocky Mounts,
MontBell, and Inside Communications, the publisher of VeloNews, Ski Racing, and
Inside Triathlon magazines.
“While at Rocky Mounts I had the opportunity to wear many hats, from
manufacturing, distribution, and retail, and this experience will help me to
best understand and serve Thule’s retailers,” said Cruickshank. “Im very
excited about this opportunity and look forward to a great season.”
A Michigan native, Cruickshank grew up mountain bike racing and later took up
road racing while attending Michigan State University, where he studied
merchandising management. Cruickshank is also an avid alpine and Nordic skier,
and has a great appreciation for the arts and culture.
