Thule has acquired the Swedish trailer manufacturer Star Industrier AB, Bromölla. The company will be consolidated into the Thule Group under the Trailers division, which has annual net sales of SEK 550 million ($75.0 mm) making up 20% of the Thule Group sales. Star Trailers is expected to contribute approximately SEK 40 M ($5.5 mm) and produces yearly about 1,500 trailers, of which 500 are horse trailers.

Thule has been seeing some success with its recent acquisition of C&C Distributors, a U.S. trailer manufacturer. Thule recently finished consolidating manufacturing in its expanded Conn. Facility, and plans on hosting a formal ribbon cutting ceremony in the near future.

Thule has announced the acquisition of the recreational trailer manufacturer C&C Distributors, Inc. of Winslow, Maine. C&C, makers of the popular SNOPRO and CARGOPRO trailer brands, will be consolidated into the Thule Group as part of the North American Car Accessories Division and renamed Thule Trailers Inc.

Thule has acquired 80% of the privately owned company for an undisclosed amount and has the option to purchase the remaining shares over the next five years. Other than changing the name to Thule Trailers Inc., there will be no changes in management, personnel, or operations at C&C Distributor's, and the SNOPRO and CARGOPRO brands will continue to be manufactured in the company's Jamestown, NY and Winslow, ME facilities.
