The Walking Company, will open a new location in South Portland, Maine, its first location in the state, on April 13. The 1,725 square-foot location will be located at The Maine Mall, 364 Main Mall Road.
“Maine is one of the few states in which we did not have any presence, so we are naturally very pleased to expand in the northern most part of the East Coast,” said Lee Cox, Senior Vice President of Retail at The Walking Company. “Mainers live in a climate where footwear is a big factor, and we're going to be bringing them a wide selection of name brand shoes that will keep their feet comfortable, warm and dry all year round.”
