The Oberalp Group, the parent company of Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca, Wild Country, and Evolv, hired industry veteran Mallory Duncan and his company, Uhuru Mountain Collective, to represent Dynafit and Pomoca in the Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska.)
“We could not be more excited for Mallory to represent Dynafit and Pomoca in the Northwest. Mallory is an accomplished skier and mountain athlete, as well as a talented and committed salesperson,” said Drew Saunders, GM of Oberalp North America. “Mallory’s blend of personal passion, likable personality, sales and marketing skill, and commitment to success are remarkable. We are excited to see Mallory grow and develop the Dynafit and Pomoca brands in the core of backcountry skiing, but also in broader areas like freeride and trail running.”
Duncan is a longtime sales rep who has worked for skiing and mountaineering brands. He founded Uhuru Mountain Collective in 2021. The company represents various outdoor brands, including those specializing in backcountry ski and apparel. He previously worked as a sales rep for Dynafit and Pomoca in 2021.
“Since leaving the agency that handled Dynafit and Pomoca, I’ve always hoped to get involved with Oberalp again. Over the past three years, Uhuru has strategically partnered with brands and retailers who can thrive in the growing backcountry freeride space,” Duncan said. “This new role comes at an excellent time for Uhuru and Oberalp because we’re both positioned to compete and grow in the North American market. The products Dynafit and Pomoca are developing for the future straddle the line of lightweight versatility and downhill performance. I’m excited to be back with this team of passionate individuals and grateful to be equipped with groundbreaking new product designs for next season.”
