The North Face on Thursday announced the appointment of Jean-Marc Djian as vice president of Global Footwear, effective immediately. Jean-Marc will report directly to Arne Arens, global brand president.
“Jean-Marc’s experience driving footwear innovation at global performance brands coupled with two decades of leadership in the outdoor industry makes him a great addition to The North Face,” Arens said. “As we continue to develop our organization for global growth, I know that Jean-Marc’s deep industry expertise will help accelerate our footwear business.”
Djian comes to The North Face with more than 20 years of international leadership experience in the outdoor industry and a history of successfully creating products for leading outdoor and footwear brands.
Djian most recently led his own consulting firm, where he advised top sport brands in the areas of innovation, consumer insights and digital transformation. Prior to that, he was vice president of global product marketing for footwear at Amer Sports, leading footwear strategy for Salomon, Arc’teryx and Wilson.
