The James Brand has appointed Dustin Aron as director of marketing and sales, responsible for managing strategy and implementation to increase consumer awareness and engagement, executing expanded wholesale and retail objectives with the global sales team, and supporting the brand’s growth strategy.
Before joining The James Brand, the company said, “Aron built a successful marketing career with iconic lifestyle brands, including his most recent position at Leus, makers of premium sustainably sourced towels, where he served as VP of marketing.”
Prior career experience includes working for four years at Sun Bum, leading the sun care category and brand marketing, and nearly three years at GoPro as board sports marketing manager, after working over 14 years at Sole Technology in various positions championing action sports footwear and apparel brands Etnies, éS, Emerica, ThirtyTwo, and Altamont.
Aron will work from The James Brand’s Carlsbad, CA office, reporting to brand CEO Mike Hoefer while also supporting the creative initiatives led by Co-founder Ryan Coulter and the product design team in the Portland, OR-based office.
