The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) announced the appointment of Jennifer Morton to the newly created position of marketing manager.
“She is an accomplished marketing executive with a demonstrated record of developing, designing and launching marketing plans resulting in revenue growth, increased customer satisfaction and market share,” noted Desane Blaney, AGM executive director.
Over the years, Morton has contributed articles to the AGM newsletters and since 2008, she has been instrumental in working with AGM staff to produce its Annual Merchandising Calendar. For the past ten years, she has served as the director of marketing for Morton Golf, LLC in Sacramento, CA, where she directed a team in social media and marketing initiatives.
Morton said, “It is a great honor to join the AGM. I look forward to meeting, getting to know and working closely with both our valued members and vendor partners to help the AGM grow by creating social communities online where all can share ideas, ask questions, gain valuable insights, and help us modernize our communication channels and expand our educational offerings.”
