Tender Corporation, parent of After Bite, Adventure Medical Kits and Ben’s, hired Garrett Cox as head of marketing. Cox will oversee the Tender marketing department and provide growth strategy expertise for their portfolio of brands. He will also provide marketing expertise as Tender continues to explore additional acquisition opportunities.
“We are thrilled to have Garrett lead our marketing department and join the executive team,” said Chris Heye, CEO of Tender. “He understands consumer behavior and knows how to build brands and categories by providing superior solutions for both consumers and for our retail partners. His successful experience in growing established brands and developing new products will be valuable to us as we accelerate the growth of our company.”
Cox joins Tender from Procter & Gamble (P&G) where he held positions of increasing responsibility over the last eight years. His most recent role was leading one of P&G’s largest personal care franchises. Cox received his MBA from Cornell University where he was selected as a Roy H. Park Leadership Fellow. Earlier in his career, Cox held numerous domestic and international roles with Ahlstrom Corporation. Cox will report to Tender’s CEO Chris Heye.
“Tender has great brands and strong leadership in many categories across multiple channels,” says Cox. “I am excited to join the team and apply my experience to help achieve even greater heights for our products. My family and I love outdoor sports and recreation and can’t wait to get fully settled in New Hampshire.”
Cox starts his new role at Tender’s headquarters in Littleton, NH on Monday, August 26. He will be relocating with his family to New Hampshire from Ohio.
