Tenaya, the manufacturer of performance climbing shoes, has signed an exclusive U.S. distribution agreement with Liberty Mountain. This partnership aims to streamline operations and deliver quick turnaround times on Tenaya products to retailers and climbing gyms while making the brand more accessible to outdoor enthusiasts nationwide.
Liberty Mountain provides “outdoor gear while supporting retailers and climbing gyms with consolidated shipments from over 1,000 brands.” The company operates from two warehouses in Sandy, UT, and Montoursville, PA, and offers 1-to-2-day ground shipping to most of the United States.
Tenaya, founded by José Luis García Gallego and a family of entrepreneurs in 1977, is headquartered in southeast Spain in one of the country’s regions with the longest shoemaking tradition. The brand touts athlete partnerships with climbing legend Chris Sharma, regarded as one of the best rock climbers of all time; Steph Davis, an icon in rock climbing and base jumping; Alex Megos, the first climber to onsight a 5.15a (9b+); Jimmy Webb, a leading figure in bouldering; along with many other elite climbers.
