Upon finalization of the sale of the Nordica brand from Benetton to the Tecnica Group on February 1, 2003, Nordica will establish an independent subsidiary in the USA.
Nordica USA will initially be based in Bordentown, New Jersey and utilize the facilities of Benetton Sportsystem USA. Andy Knittle will continue as Vice-President and General Manager of the Nordica brand in North America.
“Remaining in New Jersey for the critical portion of the ski season will allow us to provide uninterrupted high quality service. Our dealers should see a seamless transition from the old to the new Nordica USA.” Says Knittle.
