Tecnica Group Canada announced the appointment of Martin Lafleur to the position of national sales manager for the Rollerblade brand, a logical addition following his recent nomination as national sales manager for Nordica.

He has a 35-year career in the ski and skate industry that began at André Lalonde Sports and at FGL/Sports Experts, serving as a buyer then as director of equipment. During his time at Sports Experts, Lafleur continued to rise within the organization, serving as director of equipment and vice president of equipment. In addition, Lafleur was a member of the FGL Strategic Planning Committee. He was an intricate part of the successful growth of the Sports Experts brand in Quebec, placing the group as a strong leader in the market.

Lafleur said, “I am very happy and excited to be part of inline skate business in my new role as National Sales Manager for the Rollerblade Brand. I’m looking forward to working very closely with my Canadian team and our retailers.”

Regarding the nomination of this new role to the Canadian sales leadership, Stephen Charrier, director of global sales & marketing for Rollerblade said, “The appointment of Martin underscores our commitment to our brands while ensuring a stronger North America collaboration.”
