Since the close of the 2010 NFL Draft, the league has been tracking rookie jersey sales at NFLShop.com. With no surprise, Tim Tebow, the 25th overall selection by the Denver Broncos topped the list for rookie jersey sales, followed on that list by Ndamukong Suh, Sam Bradford, Eric Berry and Dez Bryant, respectively.  Accordingly, Tebow surpassed the mark set in 2009 by Mark Sanchez, who went fifth overall to the Jets.

In the NBA, Kobe Bryant headlined the sales charts with more jersey sales than any other player.  Ranked first on the list since the 2008-09 season, Bryant surpassed such names as LeBron James, Kevin Garnett, Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard, who came in second, third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

An up-and-coming star, Oklahoma Citys Kevin Durant cracked the top ten, coming in at ninth overall, while Carmelo Anthony rejoined the list at tenth, up from fifteenth a year ago.

With Bryant as the juggernaut, the Los Angeles Lakers also led team sales by topping the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Chicago Bulls.

The NBA bases the list on sales from its NBA store in New York City along with sales from the leagues NBAStore.com.
