NexCen Brands, Inc. announced the opening of the 50th TAF franchised store in Mexico. The store opened under an existing master franchise agreement, signed in January 2001, which provides for the opening of an unlimited number of stores in Mexico over a 99-year term.

The new store opened in Iztaplapa DF, which is located in the Federal District of Mexico, and is the fourteenth TAF store opened in this city.

Kenneth J. Hall, CEO of NexCen Brands, Inc., stated, “Mexico has grown to be the second largest international market for TAF, after Australia. We are pleased with the strong master franchisee relationship that exists in Mexico, and we look forward to continued success and additional expansion opportunities for TAF in this country.”

Chris Dull, president of NexCen Franchise Management, Inc., the franchising subsidiary of NexCen Brands, stated, “We are delighted to announce the opening of the new TAF store in Plaza Central, our 50th franchised store in Mexico. Through the efforts of our experienced franchise partner, Marco Canavati, TAF is well-recognized as a leading retailer of branded athletic footwear by local consumers.”
